I hereby agree to liability terms *

By no means shall IEEE E-TEMS be held liable, either directly or indirectly, for any problematic issue that may occur within the framework of the Conference and its organisation, not only with respect to the organisers but also with respect to third parties (airline companies, hotels, transportation, taxis, etc.) while in the performance of duties or services even indirectly related to the Conference. This contractual liability exemption clause is equally valid in case of an event of force majeure which leads to the disruption and/or the partial or complete cancellation of the Conference programme, for reasons not attributable to IEEE E-TEMS. An event of force majeure is defined as an unforeseen and exceptional event – be it climatic, environmental, political or socio-economic – and does not imply any limitation. Furthermore, the delegate also expressly agrees to totally absolve IEEE E-TEMS from any responsibility and liability with regard to travel insurance and related costs or claims. It is solely up to the individual to seek out and purchase or otherwise obtain the necessary insurance with regards to their travel, etc. and/or to independently issue a claim against any third party that may be responsible for direct or indirect losses or damages caused to or suffered by the delegate on route to and from the Conference.

The declaration of consent is provided electronically by checking the relevant box on the webpage. Submission of the checked box is equivalent to the signing of this declaration. The signee declares their consent to the use of the photographic, audiographic, and videographic material of their person for the purposes of building up an image archive to document the history and activities of the IEEE E-TEMS and EuroPIM (ongoing partner and sponsor of the conference series) events; public relations; publication in the IEEE E-TEMS’s activity reports and newsletter, publication on the internet on IEEE E-TEMS and EuroPIM website; publication on social media platforms; disclosure to third parties (press) for press releases. Any use of the videographic and photographic material for purposes other than those described is not permissible. I do not derive any rights (e.g. royalty) from my consent to publication. This consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. In the event of withdrawal, the photographs will be removed from the platform concerned.
